Engr. Mahfujur Rahman is a seasoned IT professional with over eight years of progressive experience in managing IT systems, networks, and enterprise solutions. Currently serving as the Deputy Manager of IT at Sunlife Insurance Company Limited, he plays a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining advanced IT strategies and infrastructures. His expertise spans across system administration, database management, IT security, and disaster recovery planning.

Mahfujur completed his Master’s degree in Information Technology from Jahangirnagar University in 2024 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Institute of Science, Trade & Technology (Affiliated by National University, Bangladesh)  in 2018. His academic foundation, paired with certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, RHCSA, and MTCNA, equips him with the technical acumen required for complex IT environments.

Throughout his career, he has successfully managed enterprise-level IT setups, configured Windows/Linux servers, and led ERP system implementations. His achievements include streamlining IT operations, enhancing system security, and ensuring seamless integration of new technologies. Notably, he has designed disaster recovery solutions, managed core network infrastructures, and provided comprehensive training to teams under his leadership.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mahfujur has shown a strong dedication to innovation, receiving the Champion Award at the 2016 Internal Project Fair at ISTT for his advanced project on a sun-tracking solar panel system. His proactive problem-solving skills and commitment to ongoing learning render him a vital asset to any organization. He also received the Best Employee Award for the IT Division from Labib Group in March 2025.
